Edit or Delete a Role
Change a role's details, or delete a role you no longer use. Both affect every team the role belongs to.

Only available to administrators and users who have the Manage Volunteer Teams/Serving Roles permission.
A role can belong to more than one team, so editing or deleting one affects every team that uses it.
- Editing a role updates it in all teams that use it.
- Deleting a role removes every volunteer assigned to it. If a volunteer has no other role on a team, they are removed from that team too.
CAUTION: If you only need to change the role, edit it. Deleting affects every team the role belongs to.
- In the top-left corner, click your site name then Realm. Then click .
- Click
next to the role, then select what you want to do:
- Edit— Make your changes to the role. Click Save.
- Delete— To delete the role, click Delete.
