Copy Marriage Information
Copy common marriage fields from one spouse's record to another.
- You'll need the Edit Individual permission.
If both spouses have a Realm profile, you can copy any of the following marriage data from one spouse's record to another: date, church/parish, spouse's name, verified, volume, page, entry, sponsors/witnesses, and officiant/clergy.
- For Spouse's Name, select a profile from your database.Note: Click
to open the selected record in a new browser tab. This is a good way to make sure you have the correct spouse before creating the marriage record for them.
A new marriage record will be added for the spouse using the common information you entered. If a marriage record already exists for the spouse and you do no allow for multiple instances, the old record will be overwritten with the new marriage data.
