Build With Widgets
Widgets help to automatically keep your website information up-to-date!
What is a Widget?
A widget is a block of content you can add to your website that synchronizes information from your ChMS or that provides an interaction for website visitors. For example, you can add a widget that shows information about an event that your church is hosting.
What are Realm widgets?
In Refresh, you’ll find a number of widgets that are specific to Realm. These widgets are synced with Realm data, which means when you place a Realm widget on your website, it will always be up-to-date with the information you store in Realm.
For example, in the case of the event widget, you might decide you need to change the event time. When you make this change to the event in Realm, the widget on your website will automatically update to match.
This means that you don’t have to spend extra time updating your website. It’s already done for you!
Which Widgets are Realm widgets?
When you edit your website, you’ll see a long list of widgets to choose from. So, which widgets are the Realm widgets?
Realm widgets include:
- Events List
- Single Event
- Groups List
- Giving Form
- Custom Calendar (Using Google Calendars)
- BoxCast widget
