Reset Password for Someone
Learn how to send a password reset email on behalf of a user, using the "Send Password Reset" button on their profile page.
- You'll need the Edit Individual permission.
CAUTION: Only send a Password Reset if requested by the account owner.
- Locate and open the record for which you want to send a password reset.
- Under Primary Email, click Send a Password Reset Email.The email should arrive in their inbox fairly quickly. If not seen in 15 minutes, ensure they are checking the associated email account, i.e., the one you show as the primary email. Alternatively, have them check their spam.
