Use the Activity Log for general searches, management views, and other tasks.

This routine populates the Activity Log which pulls data from all areas of the Platform that resulted from direct action between a contact and your church. It allows for queries against activity taking place that belongs to an Individual, a Household, a Congregation, a Ministry, and/or a Program.

The Activity Log runs every night and tags all current Group Participants with the date it last ran. This way, when you look at the activity log, you can see which people are current members of specific groups.

Don't want being in a group to count as activity? A SPoC can set the Activity Log Start Date to Yes so the Activity Log only records the Start Date of the Group as activity.
