Profile Basics
Profiles are records that are created when a contributor gives, or you can add them manually.
A profile is automatically created for any congregant or business that gives toward a fund. That means, you can track data connected with them, such as contact information or their giving history. Contributions are matched to contacts using the person's first name, last name, and email address.
Giving is a tool to be used by administrators and staff to track contributions. We send any information that's meant to be shared with contributors to MinistryPlatform.
