Credit card processing and deposit timelines
When credit card payments process and when the funds are deposited.
Note: Unless otherwise noted, you only count business days.
| Day | What happens |

| Day 1 | Vanco processes transactions at 3 AM and 3 PM Central Time each calendar day. You can void a transaction after processing if it has not been sent to the Credit Card Issuer for settlement. The option to void a credit card is available for ONLY 25 minutes or less after processing. If an individual was debited incorrectly and the option to void the transaction is no longer available, refer to Request a credit card refund for an alternative option. |
| Day 2 | The day after we auto-settle your transactions, we receive the funds for Visa/MC/Discover Card transactions. You receive an MS Deposit or MS Fund Detail Report and the funds are deposited into your organization's account the following business day. For American Express transactions, the report and funds display one to two business days after we receive the funds for your Visa/MC/Discover transactions. |
| Day 2-180 (calendar days) | Customers have the ability to dispute the credit card transaction and create a chargeback on your account. For more information, contact Risk Management at riskmgmt@vancopayments.com. You'll receive a Merchant Services Chargeback Report with steps to dispute a Chargeback request within five days of receiving one. |
