Learn how to ask families for their emergency contacts when they check in to a registration event, and how to choose a badge template for each event.
Collect Emergency Contacts at Check-In
You can now ask each family for their emergency contacts when they check in to a registration event. The Emergency Contacts setting is available on registration kiosks as well as group kiosks, so you can gather the details you'd need in an emergency at the door rather than tracking them down afterward. Select Prompt each family during check-in, then enter how often the reminder should occur. The prompt appears whether or not the family already has an emergency contact on file, and the reminder is based on the last time the profile was updated.

Collect emergency contacts for camps, VBS, and your other registration events, not just for the groups that meet regularly.

Reach the families you're most likely to be missing, such as first-time attendees and named guests who have never checked in to a group.

If the badge template for the registration event includes emergency contact information, what a family enters at the kiosk prints on their badge right away.

Set a reminder interval so families confirm their details periodically instead of at every check-in.
Choose a Badge Template for Each Event
On a registration kiosk, you now choose the Badge Template for each registration event on the kiosk instead of setting one template for the kiosk as a whole. See Check-In Kiosk Field Descriptions.

Run one kiosk for several events and still print the right badge for each one — for example, a security badge for children's camp, or a name badge for an adult conference.

Leave the template blank for an event you only need to take attendance for, and set a template for the events that print badges.
