Deactivate, Reactivate, or Delete a Team
Hide a team you're not using right now, bring it back when you need it again, or permanently remove a team and its history.

Only available to administrators and users who have the Manage Volunteer Teams/Serving Roles permission.
When a team has finished serving, you can either deactivate it or delete it. Which one you want depends on whether you'll need the team's records again.
- Deactivate hides the team from your list but keeps its history and volunteer records. You can reactivate it at any time.
- Delete permanently removes the team and everything recorded against it. Roles associated with the team are not deleted.
CAUTION: Deleting a team cannot be undone. If there's any chance you'll want
the team or its history later, deactivate it instead.
- In the top-left corner, click your site name then Realm. Then click
- If you're reactivating a team, select Show inactive. Deactivated teams are hidden by default.

Click
next to the team, then select what you want to do:
- Deactivate— To confirm, click Deactivate again.
- Reactivate— The team displays in your list again, with its history and volunteers intact.
- Delete— Enter the reason for deleting the team, then click Delete.
