Add a Website User

Add a user with permissions to edit or administrate a website, including options for sending email notifications and setting security requirements.

  • You must be website administrator. See Edit a Website User or Permissions
  • To add a website editor or admin, the individual's profile must have both a first and last name.
  • If the email associated with the website user's Realm profile changes, you must delete and re-add the user.
Although an administrator must initially create a site, once done, an administrator can assign individuals permissions to further administrate or edit the site. When you add a user, you will have the option to send an email that informs them of their new website permissions. If the individual does not already have a Realm profile, they will be prompted to create one from an email.
Note: If the email associated with the website user's Realm profile changes, you must delete and re-add that user.
