What You Can Do in a Group
What you can see and do in a group depends on whether you're a guest, a member, or the leader.
Guests, Members, and Leaders
- Guest
- Someone who has been invited to a group's events but isn't on the roster — a visitor trying out a class, for example.
- Group member
- Someone on the group's roster. Most people in a group are members.
- Group leader
- The person who runs the group. A member can be made a leader by an administrator, or by another leader of the group.

An administrator or a user with permission decides how much group leaders can change, so a leader at your church may not have every option in the last column.
Note: Group leaders can't see contact information you've set to be visible to users
with permission only.
Note: No one can remove themselves from a group — members and leaders alike. Ask the
group's leader, or an administrator at your
church, to take you off the roster.
