Change Your Payment Methods

Change the payment methods used to give contributions.

Add, update, or delete the credit card, debit card, or bank account information you use to make online contributions to your church. You can also view any messages about failed or delayed contributions.
  1. Sign in to your church's Realm site.
  2. Click Giving in the main menu.
  3. In the column on the right, click Manage Payment Methods.
  4. To add a new payment method, click Add Payment Method. Complete the fields, then click Save.
  5. To update or delete a payment type, click the ellipsis icon and select Edit Account or Delete Account. Complete the fields.
    Note:

    If you have scheduled payments assigned to this card or account, you cannot delete it until you reassign or cancel your upcoming payments. If this is the case, a pop-up window will guide you through the process.

Update a Payment Method to Complete Gift Migration

Review a migrated recurring gift, and update its payment method.

You may have received an email from an administrator letting you know that your recurring gifts will migrate from another solution to Realm. If so, a message displays automatically when you click Giving. We recommend that you review any migrated gifts and update the payment method if necessary.
  1. Sign in to your church's Realm site.
  2. Click Giving in the main menu.
  3. If you're ready to update, click Review Gift and Update Payment Method.
    Note: If you are not ready to update, click Finish Later. You will be asked to review your gifts and update your payment method the next time you visit the Giving tab on your profile.
  4. Review the gift's information, and make any necessary changes.
  5. Click Continue.
  6. Confirm that the payment method is correct.
  7. Click Give.
  8. Click Finish.
