Quiet Hours Protection

The FCC prohibits promotional or non-essential content during quiet hours, defined by FCC regulations. These hours can vary geographically. You are responsible for ensuring you're acting within the FCC Guidelines.

Quiet Hours

When you send a text message that includes promotional or non-essential information during quiet hours, your texts may be flagged. Violations could result in your account being suspended by our texting provider. Within the United States, the Federal Communications Commission defines these hours under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) as 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM in the recipient's local time zone, and bases this on the time zone using the recipient's area code.

U.S. Specific Quiet Hours Enforcement

CAUTION: For compliance purposes, you may reference the table below. However, this table is not exhaustive and may not be up-to-date with the latest state laws. For example, many states, like South Carolina, have codified their own laws for telephone solicitation to include text and media messages, not just voice calls, and cited penalties for violations. When using our services, you should contact your state's public service commission or consumer protection office for state-specific restrictions. The FCC does not maintain a centralized list.
