Opt-Out Management

Export the Text Opt-Out List

Download a file of everyone in your site who is currently opted out of text messages.

  • You must be an administrator.

  • Your site must have an active text messaging subscription. The Texts Opt-Outs tab is only available when texting is enabled.

Export the text opt-out list when you need a copy outside of Realm — for example, to share with a staff member, archive for your records, or review in a spreadsheet.

Note: The text tab's export button gives you two choices: the opt-out list and the opt-in records. This task covers the opt-out list. To export proof of consent for the people who opted in, see Export Text Opt-In Records.
  1. Click Communications > Opt-out Management.
  2. Select the Texts Opt-Outs tab.
  3. Sort the list by any column if you want the export to follow a specific order.
    The export uses the sort order that is currently applied to the list on screen.
  4. Click the export button (printer icon) above the list, then select Export Opt-Out List.

The file downloads to your computer. Open it to review the list outside of Realm.

Note: The export button does not appear when the list is empty.
