Enroll in Realm Text Messaging
Subscribe to a texting plan and configure your settings so your organization can start sending texts.
Before you begin, have the following on hand:
- Your organization's EIN (Employer Identification Number). This is required by the Campaign Registry, the federal agency that oversees commercial texting. If your organization does not have an EIN, you must obtain one before enrolling.
- A website URL for your organization. Social media pages are not accepted.
- Your 501(c)(3) documentation. The information you enter in the application must match this documentation exactly.
- The name, title, email address, and phone number of the person completing the application.
Realm guides you through selecting your setup options, choosing a texting plan, and completing your Campaign Registry application. After submitting your application, allow 5–10 business days for approval. Once enrolled, you can return to the Text Messaging page at any time to update your settings or review usage information.
