Change an Individual's Email Address

Update an individual's account email address from their profile and send an optional email to reset their password.

  • You must be an administrator to do this.
Administrators can change a user's account email address from their profile. Because the user requires this information to sign in to Realm, be sure that you have permission from the user to change this email.

If the user does not remember their password after you change their account email, you can also send a password reset while on their profile.

Note: When you update an individual's account email, this signs the individual out, temporarily removes the individual's account sign in, and sends them a new invitation email. Their account email will update once they respond to the invitation email.
  1. Locate and open the individual's record.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. In the Email section, click Update account email.
  4. Enter the new email address, then click Save.
  5. If the individual cannot recall their password, click Send a Password Reset Email.
    The individual must open the email and click the link to reset their password.
