E-Filing Threshold Reminder
The IRS implemented new threshold requirements earlier this year. If you have a combined total of at least 10 forms across your W-2s, 1099s, and 1095s, you must e-file them to meet the IRS's threshold requirement.
You have multiple e-filing options!
- E-file all of your tax forms through our trusted partner Nelco to file all of your forms in one place.
- E-file a CSV of your 1099-NEC and 1099-MISC forms to the new Information Returns Intake System (IRIS).
- E-file a .txt file of your W-2 to the Social Security Administration (SSA).
Note: If you e-file your 1099 forms through Nelco, you do not have to e-file them to the IRIS. Similarly, if you e-file your W-2 forms through Nelco, you do not have to e-file them to the SSA.
