E-Filing Threshold

The IRS has updated their e-filing requirements. If you have a combined total of at least 10 forms across your W-2s, 1099s, and 1095s, you must e-file them to meet the IRS's threshold requirement.

Export a CSV of your 1099-NEC and 1099-MISC. E-file to the new Information Returns Intake System (IRIS) for the 2023 tax filing season by exporting your data as a CSV. On the Tax Forms page, click the printer icon, and select Export (.csv) to create one.

Note: We currently offer an e-file solution through our trusted partner Nelco to file all of your forms in one place. However, this provides an alternative that you can e-file instead.

Tax Updates

A new tax has been created for Oregon in 2023. Realm Accounting automatically accounts for and calculates the Oregon Paid Family and Medical Leave Tax. You can now remove any manual adjustments associated with employee records to withhold this tax.

Coming Soon

Create a text file of your W-2 data. We're working on a way for you to create a text document that you can e-file to the Social Security Administration website using their Business Services Online Tool.
