Link to Your Church Bulletin

Admins can share a link to the church bulletin so members can access it from Parish Life. Add it to the main Announcement so it displays at the top of the Dashboard when members log in.

Depending on where the bulletin is located on your parish website, you may need to link to a landing page with a list of linked bulletins or a page that shows the latest bulletin itself. We recommend linking to a location that always shows the latest bulletin so you don't have to edit the Parish Life Announcement on a regular basis.

CAUTION: Members have the option to turn off this message in their preferences, so be aware that some may not see this.
  1. Log in to Parish Life using an admin account.
  2. In the menu, click Admin Settings.
  3. In the Add Parish Life Announcement section, add the text to inform members of the bulletin.
    Tip: Remember, members may be viewing this on their mobile device, so be brief.
  4. Highlight the text you want to link to the bulletin, and click the Link button chain link.

  5. Enter the Link URL. This is the location on your website where members can view the bulletin.

  6. If you haven't already shared the message and you're ready to do so, turn on the option Show message to members.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Click Dashboard to view your message. If needed, repeat these steps and make any necessary changes until your message is just right.

Your message, along with the link to the bulletin, displays to members on their Dashboard. You can edit or turn off the message at any time.
