Change a Recurring Journal Entry

You can make changes to a recurring journal entry if the last iteration is in the current period. An iteration is an entry's chance to be entered.

If you have a recurring journal entry with its last iteration in a closed period, the program reverses the entry in the current period. A copy of the entry is created and you can edit it. Any changes you make are reflected in future iterations of the recurring journal entry.
