Non-Catholic Setup for Annual Appeals
If you have a non-Catholic instance of MinistryPlatform and would like to track the campaign progress of multiple congregations, you'll need to complete a few steps.
Once these fields are visible, you can use them as part of your campaign setup and pledge setup for annual appeals.
Allow Churches/Congregations to be Credited
- Go to .
- Locate the Parish_Credited_ID field on the Pledges page.
- Open the record, then click Edit Record.
- Set Required to Yes.
- Set Hidden to No.
- Scroll down to Field Label. (Make sure you're in Field Label, not Field Name.) Enter a field label that will be clear to any staff members working on a campaign, such as "Congregation Credited" or "Church Credited".
- Click Save.
Allow Credit to be Marked Unknown
If you expect to receive donations from people outside of your churches/congregations, you can also enable the Parish Credited Unknown field. This provides a place to track donations that are not associated with a specific church/congregation.
- Go to .
- Locate the Parish_Credited_Unknown field on the Pledges page.
- Open the record, then click Edit Record.
- Set Required to Yes.
- Set Hidden to No.
- Scroll down to Field Label. (Make sure you're in Field Label, not Field Name.) Enter a field label that will be clear to any staff members working on a campaign, such as "Congregation Credited Unknown" or "Church Credited Unknown".
- Click Save.
