Set a Default Page View

Instructions to set a specific page view as the default page view for a specific page in MinistryPlatform.

  • You must be an administrator or SPoC to do this.
Set a default page view for a specific page so that when your users go to the page, it is the the view the page opens to.
Note: This sets the default page view for all users - you cannot have a different default page view per user.
  1. In the navigation menu, click System Setup > Pages.
  2. Click to open the page you want to add the default page view to.
  3. Click Edit Record.
  4. In the Filtering Options section, select the page view from the Default View field.
  5. Click Save.
If you don't see your change right away, try clearing your cache:
  1. Refresh the Platform cache for the changes to take effect.
    1. Click your user photo in the top right, and select About.
    2. Click Clear Cache.
Now, when anyone navigates to the page you selected, the page view you selected will display on that page.
