Update an Event's Filters

  • You must be a Go Method admin to do this.
  • You must have created at least one category with filters.
You can update an event to include additional filters even after the event is published. For example, for an event that was for adults but has now been opened up to youth, you can change the event's filters to include a filter for youth ministry.
  1. Click the event you want to edit.
  2. Click the Details tab on the left menu.
  3. Click Edit Appearance.
  4. In the Categories and Filtering section, select a filter category from the drop-down list.
    A list of filters connected to the selected category appears below.
  5. Click the check box next to the appropriate filter. You may select more than one.
  6. Click Save Changes.
Your event will now show up on the public event listing page under the new filter(s).
