Create Categories and Filters for Outreach Partners

Use categories and filters to help your congregants sort through your list of Outreach Partners more easily.

  • You must be a Go Method admin to do this.
Your congregants may be looking for something specific within your Outreach Partners. Help them find it with categories and filters! For example, your congregants may be interested in volunteer opportunities around them. Create a volunteer filter with different options, such as youth volunteer work for those looking to meet their high school's volunteer credit hours requirement, or women's volunteer work for those looking to help out in women's homeless shelters. Then, when your congregant goes to search your Outreach Partners page, they can narrow their search based on the categories and filters they select.
  1. Click Admin > Components.
  2. Click the Filters tab.
  3. Under the Type drop-down list, select Outreach Partners.
  4. Enter the filter name and options. Separate options using commas.

  5. Click Create Filter.

You can now select this filter and its categories for your Outreach Partners.
