Remove a Donation

Remove a donation that was made to a trip or participant in error.

  • You must be a Go Method admin to do this.
CAUTION: Removing a donation cannot be undone.
  1. Go to Events > My Events.
  2. Click the event you want to remove the donation from.
  3. Click the Funding tab.
  4. Click on the line item.
    The funding options menu below the line item.
    The funding options menu will drop down.
  5. Click Remove Donation.
  6. To remove the entire donation, click the Remove total amount check box. To remove only part of the donation, click the Issue a partial remove check box and enter the amount of the donation that you want to remove.
    Note: If the allocation was made with a credit card as an online donation, you will see a red warning that this will remove the donation but NOT REFUND the donation. To return the donation, click Issue a Refund. To move the donation, click Transfer Funds.
  7. Click Remove Allocation.
You've removed the donation from the trip.
If the donation was made online with a credit card, you must refund the donation.
