Add Reference Numbers to Manual Donations

Add a reference number to manual donations so you and your accounting team can track the original donation.

  • You must be a Go Method admin to do this.
Adding reference numbers to donations is helpful to create a trail you and your accounting team can follow to ensure all funds are tracked and accounted for.
  1. Go to Events > My Events.
  2. Click on the event you want to add the reference number to.
  3. On the left menu, click Team Members > View Team Members.
  4. Click on the participant you want to apply the donation to.
  5. Click the Funding tab.
  6. Click Add Funds.
  7. When entering donation details, enter a number in the Reference Number field.

  8. Click Add Funds.
The donation now has a reference number that you can use to track the donation.
