Duplicate a Gather Event

You can make a copy of an existing event.

  • You must be an administrator or user with the Manage Events or Approve Events permissions.
If you want to create an event that's based off an existing event, you can make a duplicate of that event, rather than creating a new one from scratch. This will duplicate all of the information from the existing event, allowing you to make the edits you need before saving it as a new event.
Note: You can't duplicate an event if the request has been denied.
  1. Click Calendar in the main menu.
  2. Find the event on the calendar. You can select specific date from the date drop-down menu. You can also filter the events list by spaces, locations, resources, and status.
  3. Click the more options buttonnext to the event's information and select Duplicate.
  4. Make any changes needed to the existing event information, then click Save Event.
