Cancel a Gather Event

You can cancel an event that is no longer taking place.

  • You must be the event creator, an administrator or user with the Manage Events or Approve Events permissions.
If you need to cancel an event for any reason, you can mark it as canceled within Gather. Unlike deleting an event which removes all event information, the canceled event remains visible in the event list, but is marked as canceled.
  1. Click Calendar in the main menu.
  2. Find the event on the events list. You can search by a specific date from the date drop-down menu. You can also filter the events list by spaces, locations, resources, and status.
  3. Click the more options buttonnext to the event's information and select Cancel.
  4. Click Yes to confirm.
