Accept or Decline a Pending Group Join Request

Manage your group's join request as a leader.

  • You must be a group leader or have been granted permissions to manage groups.
  • If you do not see these options and believe that you should, contact your church administrator to grant you the Manage group/pathway permissions.
When someone sends a request to join a group, a group leader must accept or decline the request before the person can see their group's details in the app.
  1. In the top-left corner, click your site name then Connect. Then click Groups.
  2. Click the name of the group.
  3. Click the Participants tab.
  4. In the pending requests section, click the check mark button to approve or the X button to decline.
    Note:

    Realm Connect App Notifications

    • When an individual who uses the Realm Connect app receives approval for a group join request, they will be notified via the app.
    • The group leader can accept a group join request from the web or app. Either will send a notification to the individual as long as that person is using the Realm Connect app.
