Create a basic table of related topics that link to each other.
When a topic relies on or is affected by another topic or set of topics, create a reltable to connect them. This is particularly useful if topics are located in different feature lists or product sections of the Help Center.
Locate the ditamap you want to apply a reltable to.
Open the ditamap.
In the left navigation, right-click the ditamap.
Mouse to Append element and select reltable.
In the left navigation, expand the <reltable> and <relrow> elements.
Click Open Library.
Use the directory to locate the folder containing the topics you want to include in your reltable.
Drag and drop topics into the appropriate <relcell>.
Drag concepts into the top <relcell>
Drag tasks into the middle <relcell>
Drag references into the bottom <relcell>
You've created a basic reltable. See Common Reltable Attributes to customize your reltable and ensure all topics relate to each other appropriately.
