Image Naming
Follow these guidelines when naming images.
Note:
- Images cannot have + in the file names.
- Avoid other symbols like ' and &.
- Use all lowercase.
Standard: type_product_package_description.png
Include the following, when applicable, in this order:
- type: what the image is
- icon - represent/indicate concepts or features; buttons that open menus or allow users to do an action; preceded by "click" in procedures
- ui - screenshots in the UI; modals, full pages
- ss - screenshots outside of our products
- graphic - charts, diagrams, graphs, callouts, anything with circles, arrows, or added text pointing out something
- photo - stock photos and live photographs
- gif - GIFs
- product: where the image is from
- realm - Realm and Realm Accounting
- mp - MinistryPlatform
- mi - Mission Insite
- pds - PDS products (global); if image only applies to a specific product, use that product (EX: pdsco, pdsms)
- acs - ACS products (global)
- section: what part of the product the image shows
- package: Realm package (inform, connect, multiply, office)
- description: what the image is showing; try to keep it short but descriptive
