Reusable content (warehouse content)
  • Naming: u_product_name.dita
  • Organization:
    • Global reuse should reside in the Global Reuse Folder. This includes ditavals used for filtering content, portal iconography, general support information such as phones numbers and hours, etc.
    • Legal reuse is managed owned by Risk Management and contained in the Policies and Procedures folder.
    • Product reuses should be organized in a folder labeled "_reuse" at the top of the product folder
DITA maps
_m_product_mapname.ditamap (the first underscore causes maps to float to the top of the file structure)
Media and PDF folders
  • Naming: _pdf, _images, _media
  • Each product should have a similar file structure based on the applicable content types.
