Naming and organization standards are a part of a successful content strategy, ensuring we can quickly locate content, both familiar and unfamiliar.

- Organization:
- Global reuse should reside in the Global Reuse Folder. This includes ditavals used for filtering content, portal iconography, general support information such as phones numbers and hours, etc.
- Legal reuse is managed owned by Risk Management and contained in the Policies and Procedures folder.
- Product reuses should be organized in a folder labeled "_reuse" at the top of the product folder
- DITA maps
- _m_product_mapname.ditamap (the first underscore causes maps to float to the top of the file structure)
- Media and PDF folders
- Naming: _pdf, _images, _media
- Each product should have a similar file structure based on the applicable content types.
