Merge the Resource ID Changes

  • You must be an author or an administrator to merge changes.
  • If the article was marked "In Progress", please check with the author before merging. We can merge just the resource id, but it's a good idea to coordinate.
Minor changes must be merged from the master (working) branch to the production branch (public) before publishing content.

Giving topics have one extra step because we maintain two versions of giving. You must merge to the Givingtest branch and the production branch.

  1. While on the article, click the merge icon.
  2. Click Merge.
  3. Click the Into drop-down box and select Production-Portal.
  4. Click Continue.
  5. Review the changes. Clear changes you do not want to merge. Click Merge.
  6. If you need changes published right away, let the content team know. Otherwise, there is generally a daily deploy on a daily basis that will publish them.
