The purpose of release notes is to Communicate new features, enhancements, and corrections included in a release. Release notes demonstrate that a product is in a constant state of improvement and that the company listens to customer feedback. The full policy is maintained by R&D here.

Release Notes are categorized under What's New on help.acst.com.
To reduce clutter and risk, release notes older than 24 months should be archived or commented out. Writers are responsible for maintaining this for their assigned products. Do NOT delete or trash release notes from the content management system as they could be required for future tax investigations, litigation or other business purposes.
Released notes are published for all products, ChMs and Extenders. They are not published for third-party products, such as Refresh.
Create release notes using a concept topic. Each enhancement or correction is explained under a section title. Explain 1) What is it? 2) Why I should care 3) Where can I find it.
Highlighting future releases is acceptable practice. We use the heading "Coming Soon" to mention upcoming enhancements.
