This troubleshooting guide addresses the issue of an unbalanced Balance Sheet after posting Payroll in any version of the General Ledger product. It provides steps to resolve the issue by restoring a backup and re-posting, ensuring all ACS users are logged out before the restoration process.

The Balance Sheet is out of balance after posting Payroll.

  • Products Affected: General Ledger

  • Versions Affected: Any

Incomplete payroll posting to the General Ledger requires a backup restoration and re-posting.

Ensure all ACS users are logged out before restoration.

If unsuccessful, check for multiple payroll postings and contact Support for mismatch.exe file execution.

  1. Log in using your ACS user name and password.
  2. Click Restore.
  3. Select the ACS Backup to restore and click Open. This backup must match the version and build you are currently using.
  4. Select the datasets to restore, then click OK.
