Facility Scheduler Error on Login

Resolving the "Facility Scheduler has encountered a problem and needs to close" error by adjusting Windows font size and system time settings.

When logging into ACS Facility Scheduler, this error displays:

"Facility Scheduler has encountered a problem and needs to close."

  • Products affected: ACS Facility Scheduler

  • Versions affected: Multiple Versions

To resolve this issue, change the Windows® font size, then change the computer's time.

For Windows 7:

  1. On the Windows taskbar, click Start.
  2. Click Control Panel, then Display.
  3. Select Smaller - 100%.
  4. Click Apply.
  5. To see the change, click Log off now, then log back in.

For Windows 8.1:

  1. On the Windows desktop, click the Start button in the lower-left corner of the screen. The Start screen displays.
  2. Click the arrow button. The Apps view displays.
  3. Click Control Panel.
  4. Click Appearance and Personalization.
  5. Click Display.
  6. Under Change the size of all items, slide the arrow to Smaller.
  7. Click Apply.
  1. In the lower right corner of your monitor, double-click the clock. The Date and Time Properties window displays.
  2. Edit the time to match your time zone above.
  3. Click Apply, then OK.
