Password Requirements
Your password must be at least eight (8) characters long and meet specific security criteria, including uppercase, lowercase, symbols, and numbers, to ensure account security. Keep in mind that the longer a passwords is, the more secure it is.
Tip: These password requirements apply only to your Realm or church app sign-in. Linking with Google, Microsoft, or Apple accounts follows their requirements. Password changes for these services update here, too. We do not store or support third-party login credentials.
Your 8-character or more password must also contain at least:
- 1 uppercase character.
- 1 lowercase character.
- 1 symbol (!,@,#,$,%,^, and so on).
- 1 number.
Your password cannot:
- Contain any 3-or-more-character sequence from your username or email. If, for instance, your username is JeffAnderson@example.com, your password could not contain "jeff" or "ander".
- Include 3 or more repeating characters (such as 222).
- Include 3 or more characters in sequence (such as 123, 321, or abc).
Forgotten Passwords
- If you enter the wrong password five times in a row, wait one hour to try again.
- If you forget your password, click Forgot your password? on the login page. We'll email you a link to reset it. This email may take several minutes to arrive.
- Use the new password across all devices, and update saved passwords in browsers or phones.
- Upon receiving your invitation from your church or parish, you used an email address and password. You can link your Google, Apple, or Microsoft account, but you can still reset and use the original email and password.
Remember: Only you can change your password, but your church or parish has an administrator who can change your account's email address.
