Chat With Your Team

Chat with members of your team.

Team leaders can start a chat with all the volunteers on the team. This will email everyone on the team who has a login or account. You can also start a chat with an individual, or select people on your team. This creates a new conversation where you can chat and see replies.

Chat With Your Team for Leaders

Start a chat with your team.

  1. In the top-left corner, click your site name then Connect. Then click Serving.
  2. Click the name of your team, then click the News tab.
  3. Click Send Communication.
  4. Click Start a Chat.
  5. To select certain individuals to message, click Message Specific People, then remove people you don't want to include.
  6. Enter a message.
  7. To include a file, click the paper clip iconand select the file.
  8. To include an emoji, click .
  9. Click Send.

Chat With Your Team for Volunteers

Participate in a team chat.

A volunteer cannot initiate a new chat with a team, but can participate in an existing group chat started by a team leader.
  1. In the top-left corner, click your site name then Connect. Then click Communications > Chat.
  2. In the Recent column, click the team's name to open the team's chat.
  3. Enter a message.
  4. To include a file, click the paper clip iconand select the file.
  5. To include an emoji, click .
  6. Click Send.
