Monitor Text Usage
Administrators can monitor one-way text usage to manage resources, control costs, and ensure policy compliance.
Each text sent to an individual counts toward your monthly limit. If you exceed your monthly limit, an overage fee applies for each additional text until the end of the billing period. However, you can view the number of texts sent by each authorized user for a specific time period and pause or increase your plan, accordingly.
- To filter by text type, click the All Text Usage drop-down and select a view:
- All Text Usage — Total texts sent across all types. The Totals by Group or Serving Team section shows how many texts each group or team has used.
- One-Way Texts — Texts sent by authorized users. The Text Breakdown section shows how many texts each authorized user has sent.
- Group Text Usage or Serving Team Text Usage — Texts sent from a specific group or serving team. The Text Breakdown section shows usage for each group or team.
- To narrow the date range, use the time frame filter above the chart.
