Post to Your Team Newsfeed
Communicate with all the volunteers on your team by creating a post.
If you need to communicate with all the volunteers on your team, you can create a post on your team's newsfeed. Everyone on your team can view your post and leave comments, if comments are enabled.
Note: When a team leader adds a file attachment to a post, that file displays on the Files tab under the Post Attachments section.
Post to Your Team Newsfeed for Leaders
Communicate with your team by creating a newsfeed post as a leader.
- In the top-left corner, click your site name then Connect. Then click Serving.
- Click the name of your team.
- Click the News tab.
- Click Send Communication.
- Click Create a Post.
- Enter your post's title and the message you want to share.
- To schedule the post to show on the newsfeed in the future, select Schedule Post, then click the text in the Schedule Date section to select a day and time.
- To pin the post at the top of the team newsfeed, click the pin icon in the top right corner.
- To attach a file, click Attach files and add the file from your computer. If you add more than one file, they appear in reverse order of your selection with the last file at the top of the file list.
- To disable comments, turn Allow Comments off.
- Click Post.
Post to Your Team Newsfeed for Volunteers
Communicate with your team by creating a newsfeed post as a volunteer.
- In the top-left corner, click your site name then Connect. Then click Serving.
- Click the name of your team, then click the News tab.
- To create your post, click
.
- Enter your post's title and the message you want to share.
- To attach a file, click Attach files and add the file from your computer. If you add more than one file, they appear in reverse order of your selection with the last file at the top of the file list.
- To disable comments, turn Allow Comments off.
- Click Post.
