Send a Text to Group or Team Members

Users with permission can text some or all of the members of a group or serving team. Only people who have opted in to text messages receive it.

Sending a text works much like sending an email. Go to the group or team, select the people you want to reach, and choose to send a text.

Only people who have opted in to text messages receive your text. When you start a text, the To line shows how many of the people you selected are opted in. To help more people opt in, see Invite Others to Opt in to Text Communications.

Your church's text ID is added to the beginning of every text you send. If the group or team includes children, their parent/guardian contacts are also texted.
