Text Messaging Plan

Pause or Resume Texting

Pause and resume texting to manage your text subscription and avoid overages.

You can temporarily turn off parts of your text subscription. For example, if you see that your account is approaching the maximum number of texts for your plan, you can pause texting so that you don't accrue an overage.

When you turn off texts, no one will be able to send texts until you resume it. This includes:

  • Administrators

  • Authorized users
  • Group or team leaders using inbox communication with option to forward texts to those who opted in.

Turning texting on and off takes effect immediately, and your church will continue to use the same number for texting. You can still modify your text subscription while it is paused.

  1. In the top-left corner, click your site name then Realm. Then click Communications > Text Messaging.
  2. Click Edit Settings.
  3. To pause one-way texting, click to toggle the One-Way Texts button and at the top of the page.
  4. To pause group and team texting, click to toggle the Group and Team button.
  5. Click OK.

    Return to this page and repeat the process to turn texting back on.
