If text messaging is enabled for your church, you can manage which groups, ministry areas, or serving teams receive texts, and allow participants to update their notification preferences.

1. In the top-left corner, click your site name then Realm. Then click Communications > Text Messaging.
2. Click Edit Settings.
3. If this is the first time you're adding groups, under Connect Inbox Text, toggle the switch on to enable this feature.
4. To add groups, begin typing the names of a group or ministry area, and click Add. Add as many as you want.
5. To add serving teams, click the Add Serving Team tab and add as many as you want.
6. If you make a mistake, you can remove a group or serving team. Locate the group's name in the list, and click. Select Remove, and select whether to send a cancellation email to group members. Then click Remove.
7. By default, the Include Opted-In check box is selected next to a group.

   If enabled, opted-in participants who have not disabled text messaging for this group in their notification settings will automatically receive texts for group Inbox messages. Participants can opt out of text messaging at any time, by sending STOP to (864) 635-3843.

   If disabled, opted-in participants must log in and update their notification preferences to receive texts from Realm.

   Realm will send texts to the opted-in mobile number on a participant's profile. If a participant has not opted-in, they must send START to (864) 635-3843, to start receiving texts.

8. Click Save.
