11.3G Release
If you're part of the Preferred Client Program, you can download the latest desktop version in the Client Portal.
PDS Church Office 11.3G, releasing for desktop 9-22-26 and OnDemand 9-24-26, offers the following enhancements.
New and Improved Features
When you check your data health, you'll now see a rating of Good, Fair, or Poor along with your percentage. A Good rating is between 90% and 100%, and your data is clean. A Fair rating is between 75% and 89%, and your data could use a little work. A Poor rating is under 75%, and you should consider cleaning up your data.
-
On the Results tab, you'll now see more information related to any problems with your records. The text under each record specifies which name, title, gender, or other data you need to review and correct.
-
We also added a new tab called Exceptions. Here, you can mark family records that you want to exclude from the data health calculations. For example, you may have a duplicate record that you keep for a certain purpose, and you don't want to keep seeing it in the data health results. You can mark that record as an exception. Once you mark records, click back to the Results tab, and you'll be prompted to recalculate your data health—this time, without the records you marked as exceptions.
- You can now import a person's saint name from a .csv file into member sacrament records. On the Keys/Birth Info tab, select the matching value for Saint Name from your file in the drop-down list.
-
If you're using the Greek Orthodox version of Church Office, the data in your file must match one of the predefined values used in the Saint Name drop-down list (excluding the date at the end).
-
If you're not using the Greek Orthodox version, the data from your file will be posted as text in the Saint's Name field.
Greek Orthodox Version Non-Greek Version
- You can now enter up to 70 characters for the Confirmation Name on member sacraments and in the Sacramental Register.
-
We updated the Full Page Confirmation Certificate to accommodate longer names. If the name is 40 characters or shorter, it prints as usual. If it's over 40 characters, the font size decreases so the full confirmation name can fit on the certificate.
- In the 11.3C release, we added an option in the Initial Setup for Use Both First Names in Name Formats. When selected, this indicated that you want to see the first names of both the head and spouse in Mailing Name and Formal Salutation formats. However, in order for this to take effect, you have to recalculate the name formats on each family's record or in bulk using the system process.
-
With this release, a note will now display that reminds you to recalculate the name formats whenever you change this option. From this note, you can click Help to see the steps for the Change Names process.
