11.2H Release

If you're part of the Preferred Client Program, you can download the latest desktop version in the Client Portal.

PDS Church Office 11.2H, released for desktop 10-29-25 and OnDemand 10-30-25, offers the following enhancements.

New and Improved Features

Export Financial Trends
  • There's a new report that exports up to 10 years of financial trends to a CSV file. It includes the total number of contributions, along with the number of people who increased contributions, decreased contributions, started contributing, and stopped contributing. Under Contribution Reports, expand Financial Analysis Reports and select Financial Trends Export.
Export Reports to Send to the Diocese
  • Does your diocese ask for family information, family counts, or reasons for changes? We added three new reports that export this information to a CSV file. Under Family Reports, expand Export Reports to Send to the Diocese, and you'll see the following reports:
    • Family Export for Diocese – Includes head and spouse names, physical address, mailing address, up to 3 phone numbers, and up to 2 email addresses. You can choose whether to include fund totals for up to 5 calendar or fiscal years.
    • Count Export for Diocese – Includes counts for all families, Catholic families, mixed marriage families, families with no spouse, envelope users, and Catholic members. And, within a date range you define, it includes the number of new families, infant baptisms, adult baptisms, confirmations, and marriages.
    • Reason Log for Diocese – You can use this export if you have enabled the option for PDS to ask for the reason on significant changes in your Initial Setup window. Within a date range you define, it includes the date that the change was made, family name, what data was changed, the reason for change, the old value, and the new value.
Pronoun Fields in Memorial Letters
  • When you edit letters for memorial donations, you can now refer to the deceased member by "Him" or "Her" and "His" or "Hers". To do this, place you cursor in the letter where you want to use the pronoun, click Insert Field, then expand Deceased, and select the pronoun option you want to use in your letter.

Record Selections
  • When selecting families, members, or personnel to include in your report, it's easier to find who you're looking for. On the Selections tab, after you select to Include ANY of the following [records], you can filter the list to Show Active, Show Inactive, or Show Both. You can also click the column header to sort the list by name or ID number, where applicable.

Tip: We also have a new PDS Reports Guide! This resource walks you through each step of the reporting process and provides helpful tips and troubleshooting. There are relevant videos sprinkled in for extra help. Be sure to check it out!
Improved Data Cleanup
  • We added a way to identify deceased members who have a member type of "Head" or "Spouse". If needed, you can change their type to "Other" with the click of a button!

  • When you combine user keyword lists, the process will now resolve any duplicates in the resulting list. That way, you don't have to run the process again to delete the duplicate keywords caused by the merge.
  • You may have phone numbers marked as "Home" on family and member records. Now, in the cleanup process, you can move these so they only show on the family record, and move any other phone types to the member record. Likewise, you may have email addresses marked as "Primary" on family records. You can move these so they only show on member records.

  • These options are especially helpful if you plan to migrate your data. If you'd rather keep phone numbers and email addresses on the current records, make sure to clear the checkbox before you update the types. For more information, see Clean Up Your Data.

Enhancement Requests
  • Do you have a suggestion for improving PDS? You can submit an Enhancement Request to share your idea! On the File menu in your PDS program, click Request an Enhancement. This opens the Enhancement Request form in your web browser, and after you fill it out, our team will review your suggestion to determine if it's feasible and useful for a majority of our customers.
  • As usual, keep an eye on release notes to see which enhancements we were able to complete in each update.

Corrections

We fixed issues that were reported internally to our team, as well as the following issue that affected some of our customers:
  • If you used approximate dates, an error displayed when importing families. We've modified the export process to account for approximate dates so that the import process accepts them.
