Templates

Set Up CSV File Templates

CSV file templates are useful for importing data into your ChMS from Growth Method.

  • You must be a Growth Method administrator to do this.
You can validate and import data into your ChMS through Growth Method using a CSV import. With online forms such as Google, you can export the data via a CSV file. You can also export from your favorite spreadsheet program into a CSV file.
  1. Click CSV > CSV Templates.
  2. Click Setup A Template.
  3. Enter your Template Name, select a Campus from the drop-down list, and enter a Description of the template.
  4. Optional: To not import the template's results into F1, select the Make this template "export only" check box.
  5. If your church integrates with F1, enter the fields for New Adult Status and New Child Status.
  6. To upload your CSV file template, click Browse Files and select the file you want to use as a template.
  7. Click Save.
Now that you have setup CSV file templates, continue setting up conditionals for automated communication for CSV files.
