Roles

Delete a Role

Eliminate a role to remove the role's permissions from any users assigned to the role.

  • You must be a Growth Method administrator to do this.
Delete a role that your organization no longer needs. For example, if you have a "Scanned Cards Volunteer" role, but your organization decided to go paperless and no longer uses paper cards and forms, you can delete the "Scanned Cards Volunteer" role.
Warning: Deleting a role is permanent and irreversible.
  1. Click your name and click User Management.
  2. Click Roles.
  3. Click the role you want to delete.
  4. Click Delete This Role.
  5. A message appears that says If you delete this role, all assigned users will lose these privileges. Are you sure?. Click the message to delete the role.
You removed the permissions assigned to this role from all users that had the role, and you can no longer assign any users to this role.
