Theme Elements
Theme elements are everything about the form that you can style. Edit theme elements to change the theme so you can apply the theme's style to online forms.
Use theme elements to create themes that you can use for your online forms. Theme elements display on the right side of the screen, while the left side of the screen shows you what the form will look like with those elements applied. Adjustments you make to theme elements on the right will show on the example form in the left, so you can see what your theme looks like before you apply it to a form.
Theme elements you can use to edit online form themes include the following:
Layout
The layout element consists of the general styles for the entire form, including:
- Overall background color
- Form content background color
- Border radius, width, and color
- Form content shadow
Font & Text
This element refers to the styling section of the form, including:
- Section break
- Paragraph text
- Heading text
- Font sizes, colors, widths, and weights
- Distance to the top and bottom margins
Input Fields
In this element, you can adjust the following for the input fields of the theme:
- Horizontal padding
- Border radius and width
- Font size and color
- Background color for input fields
- Focus text
- Border
- Background colors
Labels
With this element, you can establish several style choices for the labels of the theme, including:
- Font size, weight, and color
- Distance of the top and bottom margins
Errors
In the Errors element, you can edit the following for theme errors:
- Label text color
- Input text
- Border
- Background colors
- Message size, font weight, and color
- Distance from the top margin
Check boxes
In this element, you can adjust the following for theme check boxes:
- Width and height
- Border width, color, and radius
- Font size
- Background for checked boxes
- Border colors for checked boxes
For radio buttons, you can adjust the following:
- Width and height
- Border width, color, and radius
- Font size
- Background for checked radio buttons
- Border colors for checked radio buttons
Buttons
In the Buttons element, you can edit the following for the theme's buttons:
- Height
- Vertical and horizontal padding
- Border radius and width
- Font size
- Text, border, and background colors
- Hover text, border, and background colors
You can adjust all these items for both the form theme's primary and secondary buttons.
