Associate the New User

Associate the new administrative user you just created in Go Method.

  • You must be a Go Method admin to do this.
  • You must be a ChMS system admin to do this.
  • You must have your MinistryPlatform URL, Client ID, and Client Secret values from the previous task.

The new administrator login created must now be associated or connected with Go Method.

  1. Click Admin > Settings..
  2. In the left menu, click Software Integration.
  3. Click MinistryPlatform.
  4. Enter the MinistryPlatform URL, Client ID, and Client Secret values from MinistryPlatform.
    Note: When you enter your MinistryPlatform URL, omit the "/mp" at the end of the URL.
  5. Click Verify.

If integration is successful, the global settings display, and, under the Events tab, Import from MP displays.

You are now ready to set global variables used to synchronize data between Go Method and MinistryPlatform.
