Create Reference Rules

  • You must be a Go Method admin to do this.
  • You must have a reference question category set up.
  • You must have an individual type set up for reference questions.
After you've created categories, types, and questions, you can create reference rules.
  1. In the top menu, click Events > References.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click Edit > Add Rule.
  4. The default option is one reference, click Change to update this.
  5. Select an Individual Type.
  6. To update the amount, click the box with the number 1 and add a different amount.
  7. Set the number of months – the rule expires when this time period ends. The default time is set to zero.
  8. Select if a user can request references without being on an event that requires references.
  9. Click Update Settings.
